Cuvée Aurora Rosé 2016 Magnum 1.5 LT - Alta Langa DOCG Talento Classic Method
The Alta Langa di Banfi Piemonte project is enriched with an important and prestigious label: the Cuvée Aurora Rosé. This rosé, produced with 100% Pinot Noir grapes, is characterized by its harmonious structure and elegant silkiness.
Production area
Born in the Banfi Piemonte cellars, in Strevi, an expression of the prestigious Alta Langa project.
Variety
The grapes, 100% Pinot Noir, harvested by hand and coming exclusively from vineyards grown on the high hills of Piedmont, in a specific area of the provinces of Cuneo, Asti and Alessandria.
Production method
The cold skin maceration of the grapes, lasting about an hour, is followed by soft pressing. The must is then subjected to static clarification and subsequently fermentation at a controlled temperature (17° C). After a few months of contact with the fine lees, the wine is prepared for draft. Fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method, with permanence on the yeasts for a minimum period of 30 months. Traditional riddling on pupitres and dégorgement à la glace. The sugar dosage chosen is Extra Brut, around 4 g/l. An ideal refinement in the bottle follows.
Tasting
