d'Araprì Brut Classic Method Sparkling Wine

It is the company's most marketed product, and was also the first to be produced. See the addition of the liquer d'expedition. Brut d'Araprì is a mixed blend and is aimed at a wide range of consumers.

 

Grape varieties: Bombino bianco and Pinot noir.

Production area: San Severo.

Vineyard: Contrada San Biase, Contrada Cotinone and Contrada San Matteo – 1/2 + 2 + 12 hectares

Soil type: clayey-limestone, slightly sloping.

Exposure and altitude: South South-West, 80-100 m. above sea level.

Training system and planting density: Espalier – 3500 plants per hectare, Apulian pergola – 2000 plants per hectare.

Yield per hectare: 100-120 quintals per hectare, approximately 3-4 kg per vine.

Harvest period: end of August Pinot Noir and second ten days of September Bombino Bianco, with manual harvesting and selection of the grapes.

 

Refinement and permanence on the yeasts: each bottle rests for a minimum of 24 months protected from light, air currents and shocks, at a temperature of 13° C, in the basement of our ancient cellar.

Disgorgement: a la glace manually, with the addition of the dosage syrup, approximately two months before marketing.

 

Colour: bright straw yellow with subtle perlage

Perfume: ethereal bouquet with hints of lysate (bread crust). the olfactory picture, softened by aromas of dried wild flowers and fleshed out by fruity hints of apple, yellow peach and orange.

Taste: the sugar dosage is deliberately kept low, 5 g/l, to preserve its fragrance and aromatic freshness. Delicately dry and harmonious, with a fresh and full-bodied mouthfeel and an aftertaste of toasted notes and panettone. It concludes with a clean and dry finish, with a refined dryness that sucks away the initial sweetness.

 

Gastronomic pairings

 

Excellent as an aperitif.

It is a classy sparkling wine to celebrate any important occasion such as receptions, dinner parties, banquets; ideal to sip in moments of relaxation.
