ERIC TAILLET EGALIT BRUT
Égali't Brut is the fresh, balanced Éric Taillet Champagne with a pleasant mint aftertaste. Its fine and persistent perlage in golden yellow color releases aromas of citrus fruits, hawthorn, lime and honey. Tasting reveals all the quality of the French maison's workmanship: the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes from the AOC Champagne give the sip fine hints that fade into a fresh mint aftertaste. Ideal for enhancing pairings with fish and shellfish main courses.

The story of a family
Vine cultivation has always been present in the Taillet family, however the development of Champagne began a little later. The vineyards tended to produce beautiful, healthy, quality grapes. It wasn't until Daniel Taillet for the first bottles to be marketed. We are in 1961 and Maison Taillet is born. The story began... it was in 1995 that Eric Taillet took over from his father, continuing to cultivate his vines with respect, maintaining them in order to obtain exceptional harvests. Today he has the opportunity to share this passion with his two children, his greatest reward.
The authenticity of a champagne
For him, it is the harvest that everything will take place; a precious moment that must be approached philosophically. From this beautiful material, light wines and then champagnes acquire a strong personality, an extra soul that makes these champagnes so different. And it is always with fervor that he is committed to regularly creating reserved cuvées to satisfy a demanding clientele. A perfectionist, who wants to preserve in each of his champagnes a uniqueness and style that is recognizable at the first sip.
A Land of Miller
The vineyard covers 5.70 hectares and extends across 6 municipalities around Baslieux-sous-Chatillon. A stunning location in the heart of the great Marne Valley, where Pinot Meunier reigns supreme. We also find Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, which allow us to create blends for some of our cuvées. Our soils, with a marly, clayey or sandy tendency, constitute a rich terroir with a high reserve of nutrients, a true blessing for our vines.
