Robert Birnecker is one of the most expert American distillers. Of Austrian origin, born into a family of distillers for three generations, he is also an international consultant. Thanks to his skills he has educated entrepreneurs and contributed to the foundation of almost 200 distilleries around the world. His skill and creativity have allowed Koval to collect over 100 international awards and commendations. 

Sonat Birnecker Hart, Robert's wife, was a full-time teacher in the USA and Germany for over ten years, before giving up her academic career to dedicate herself personally to the Chicago distillery, where she deals with product development, distribution and marketing, providing the family business with presence and success in numerous export markets. 

The touch of personality in the packaging is evident, which makes Koval's Gins stand out from the others, with its labels printed with laser technology in relief, die-cut and then completed with delicate circles and designs in gold foil.
