Old Curiosity Chamomile & Cornflower GinThe Old Curiosity Distillery Gin Chamomile and Cornflower cl. 50 - 39%The backbone of this gin is given by Juniper and Coriander, whose seeds and berries are freshly broken; Angelica root and savory are then added, with their soft and delicate scents. These four botanicals produce an elegant and light basic gin, to which at this point we add freshly distilled Chamomile. This flower has been used for centuries as a medicinal plant, given the high levels of antioxidants such as terpenoids or flavonoids; our extraction process is conducted in such a way as to maintain all these elements. Chamomilla Matricaria is grown by us, in our Secret Herb Garden, and is known for its anti-inflammatory and antidepressant properties: just smell our gin to feel better, but we suggest drinking it... responsibly, of course. Cornflower petals have a delicious astringent flavour, which balances the crunchy and fruity flavor of Chamomile; the blue color of the gin depends precisely on the cornflower petals, collected and dried by hand with great care to preserve the essence of the flower. This soft and pleasant gin is a perfect example of how the majesty of nature can marry perfectly with the art of the distiller.
